Contact vCard QR Code

Fill in the contact details you want to share, and this tool builds a vCard QR code that people scan to save you straight to their phone contacts. It uses the widely supported vCard 3.0 format, includes only the fields you fill in, and is generated in your browser, so your details are not uploaded.

Your input and files stay in this browser. They are never uploaded to Rabetly.

Enter your details

Creates a vCard 3.0 contact using standard CRLF line breaks. Add only the details you want to share.

How to make a QR code for your contact card

  1. Enter your First name and Last name, and add your Organization and Job title if you want them on the contact.
  2. Add a Phone number, Mobile number, Email address and Website as needed; leave a field empty to skip it.
  3. Type your Address if you want it saved with the contact.
  4. Click Generate QR code, then scan the preview to check the contact your phone offers to save.
  5. Download the SVG for printed business cards or the PNG for email signatures and slides.

When a contact QR code is useful

  • A sales representative printing the code on the back of a business card so prospects save every detail without typing.
  • A conference speaker showing the code on the final slide so attendees can add them as a contact.
  • A freelancer adding the code to a portfolio PDF or an email signature.
  • A real estate or insurance agent placing the code on brochures and name badges.

How this tool works

Generate a standard code locally in your browser, preview it, and download PNG or SVG without creating an account.

Contact vCard QR Code: frequently asked questions

Which details can a vCard QR code include?

First and last name, organization, job title, a phone number saved as work, a mobile number, email, website and address. At least one detail is required, and empty fields are left out of the card.

Which vCard version is used, and will phones read it?

vCard 3.0 with standard line breaks. The camera apps on current iPhones and Android phones recognize it and offer to create a new contact with the details you entered.

Can I update my details after printing the code?

No. The details are stored inside the QR code itself, so any change needs a new code. If you want a contact page you can edit later, the page offers to turn the code into a shareable Rabetly profile, which requires an account.

Why does my contact QR code look so dense?

Every field you add makes the code carry more data and more modules. For a small business card, include only the essentials, keep error correction at L or M, and print the SVG so the pattern stays sharp.
