How to make a QR code for a website link
- Paste the address into the Website or destination URL field; if you leave out https://, it is added for you.
- Choose the QR size (px), the Quiet zone and the Error correction level, or keep the defaults.
- Pick Foreground and Background colors that contrast clearly, such as a dark color on white.
- Click Generate QR code and check the preview in the Result panel.
- Download PNG for screens or SVG for print, and scan the code with a phone before you share it.
When a URL QR code helps
- A restaurant owner printing a QR code on table cards that opens the online menu.
- An event organizer adding a QR code for the registration page to a poster or flyer.
- A shop putting a QR code on packaging or receipts that leads to its online store or review page.
- A teacher showing a QR code on a slide so students open a shared document on their phones.
