PDF to JPG: frequently asked questions

What resolution are the JPG images?

Standard renders pages at 72 DPI and High at 108 DPI, so an A4 page becomes about 596 × 842 or 893 × 1263 pixels. JPG files are saved at 90% quality on a white background.

Do I get all the pages in a ZIP file?

No. Each page appears as its own file named after the PDF and the page number, such as report-page-3.jpg, with its own Download button.

Can I convert only some pages of a PDF to JPG?

Yes. Click page numbers to choose them, or type ranges like 1-3, 6, 8-10 under Select with a range and click Apply. Only the selected pages are rendered.

Is my PDF uploaded to convert it to JPG?

No. Pages are rendered locally in your browser and the PDF is not sent to our server. Files up to 80 MB and 500 pages are supported, but password-protected PDFs are not.
