Bounded public networking diagnostics

CNAME Lookup

Find the canonical-name target published for a hostname.

Browser-local subnet tools never leave this device. Live checks send only the requested public hostname, IP address, or URL to Rabetly for this one diagnostic and are not stored in analytics.

How this tool works

This read-only diagnostic validates the target and performs one bounded lookup. It does not scan ports, download page bodies, or run commands.

Private, loopback, link-local, metadata, multicast, and reserved targets are blocked. Requests use strict timeouts, response limits, rate limits, and validated redirects.

Networking tools FAQ

Are my lookup values stored?

No. Rabetly uses a hostname, IP address, or URL only to complete the current diagnostic. Tool telemetry records the tool ID, category, locale, and action—not your value or result.

Why are private IPs, custom ports, and local hosts blocked?

These public tools are intentionally read-only diagnostics. Blocking local and private networks, custom ports, and arbitrary commands protects internal services and prevents the tools from becoming scanners.

Does a result prove that a website or email setup is secure?

No. DNS, RDAP, headers, status codes, and certificate data are useful signals with a limited scope. They do not replace a complete security, deliverability, or availability review.
