Image tools FAQ

Are my images uploaded to Rabetly?

No. These image tools process selected images locally in your browser and do not send image contents or metadata to Rabetly.

Will a phone photo turn sideways?

Decoding requests orientation-aware browser handling and exported files are rendered from the normalized decoded image where the browser supports it.

Which image formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF can use browser decoding. The HEIC to JPG page also loads a decoder locally for HEIC and HEIF files.
