How this tool works

The viewer reads available file and JPEG EXIF details locally. Location metadata is called out deliberately because a photo can contain it.

Example

Check a photo's dimensions, format, camera information, orientation, and available capture date before sharing it.

Image tools FAQ

Are my images uploaded to Rabetly?

No. These image tools process selected images locally in your browser and do not send image contents or metadata to Rabetly.

Does the metadata viewer show GPS coordinates?

It warns when JPEG location metadata is present, but does not display coordinates. The metadata never leaves your browser.

Which image formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF can use browser decoding. The HEIC to JPG page also loads a decoder locally for HEIC and HEIF files.
