How to calculate your exact age

  2. Select Calculate.
  3. Read your age under Years / months / days in the Your result panel.
  4. Check Next birthday, Days until next birthday, Day of birth, Total months, Total weeks and Total days below it.
  5. Select Reset to clear the date and calculate someone else's age.

Age Calculator: frequently asked questions

How is exact age calculated?

By the calendar: the tool counts completed years first, then whole months, then the remaining days up to today, instead of dividing the number of days by an average year. For example, someone born on 1990-01-31 is 36 years, 1 month and 1 day old on 2026-03-01.

How is a 29 February birthday handled?

In years without 29 February, the birthday is counted on 28 February. Completed years increase on that day, and Next birthday shows 28 February in those years.

Can I calculate my age in Hijri years?

Not on this page, which uses a Gregorian date of birth. Use the Hijri Age Calculator to enter a Hijri birth date and get your age in Hijri years, months and days.

Which date does the calculator use as today?

Today's calendar date in Riyadh time (Asia/Riyadh). Near midnight this can be one day ahead of or behind your local date, and a date of birth in the future is not accepted.
